Iron is an important component of hemoglobin. Lack of iron causes exhaustion, preventing the body from getting enough oxygen. This can affect everything from brain function to the immune system ability to fight off infections. During pregnancy, severe iron deficiency may increase the risk of the baby being born too early, or smaller than normal. Iron deficiency is a common nutritional deficiency in the US. Almost 10% of women are iron deficient.
Suggested use
Adults - Take one tablet daily, preferably with food, as a dietary supplement.
Warnings
Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or a poison control center immediately.
The treatment of any anemic condition should be under the advice and supervision of a physician. Do not exceed recommended dosage. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking any medications or have any medical condition, consult your physician before use. Discontinue use and consult your physician if any adverse reactions occur.
Tamper-Evident Seal: Do not use product if seal appears tampered.
Store in a dry place under controlled room temperature: 20°C-25°C (68°-77°F).
