Gaviscon Liquid Original helps provide fast, soothing, effective relief from pain and discomfort associated with heartburn and indigestion. Original formulation, orignal aniseed flavour.
An aniseed flavoured suspension providing fast relief of acid reflux, heartburn and trapped wind associated with indigestion. Providing long lasting relief, for up to 4 hours. Working by providing a protective barrier on the stomach contents to prevent acid returning up the oesophagus.
What causes indigestion?
- Spicy or fatty foods
- Drinking alcohol
- Being overweight
- Stress or anxiety
- Some medications
- Smoking
- Pregnancy
Dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years Two to four 5ml spoonfuls to be taken after meals and at bedtime.
Children 6 to 12 years: One or two 5ml spoonfuls to be taken after meals and at bedtime.
Contains:
Sodium alginate 250mg, Sodium bicarbonate 133.5mg and Calcium carbonate 80mg per 5ml dose.
Caution:
Not suitable for children under 6 years without a doctor's advice. Consult your doctor before taking if on a low sodium diet.
