Description

Evening primrose oil is derived from the seeds of biennial plant oenothera biennis. It is the richest source of an essential fatty acid, namely gamma linolenic acid.

 

Indication

Relief of pre-menstrual breast pain. Relief of menstrual pain. May assist in the management of dysmenorrhoea.

 

Mechanism of action

All the beneficial properties of EPOSOFT are as a result of increased production of PGE1 which has anti-inflammatory properties in contrast to pro-inflammatory properties of PGE2.

Relief of menstrual pain.

May assist in the management of dysmenorrhoea

 

Recommended dosage and administration

Prophylaxis: 1 Eposoft softgel daily after meals or as prescribed.

Therapeutic usage: 1-2 Eposoft softgels twice daily or as prescribed.

Premenstrual syndrome: 1-2 Eposoft softgels daily in single/divided doses after meals for 6 months; reduce the dose thereafter to 1 Eposoft softgel daily after meals.
