Gaviscon Peppermint liquid relief brings fast, long lasting relief from pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion. Can be used to treat gastric reflux.
Gaviscon Peppermint liquid belongs to a group of medicines called reflux suppressants, helping to provide relief from heartburn and acid indigestion. Working by forming a protective layer on top of the stomach contents which prevents stomach acid escaping from the stomach back into the food pipe, which causes pain and discomfort.
What causes indigestion?
- Spicy or fatty foods.
- Drinking alcohol.
- Being overweight.
- Stress or anxiety.
- Some medications.
- Smoking.
- Pregnancy.
Dosage:
Adults & children over 12 years: 10-20ml after meals and at bedtime.
Children 6 - 12 years: 5-10ml after meals and at bedtime.
Contains:
Each 10ml Dose of Oral Suspension contains 500mg Sodium Alginate Ph Eur, 267mg Sodium Bicarbonate Ph Eur and 160mg Calcium Carbonate Ph Eur as the active ingredients.
Caution:
Not suitable for under 6 years. This product is sugar free and gluten free. You can safely take this product if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
